Very informative and entertaining. I bought this book for my niece and liked it so much, I bought two more for my nephews when they got engaged. Great for general information and pitfalls in planning a wedding, while filled with humor. This book recommends buying their Bridal Bargains Guide, don’t bother, I also bought that book and instead of three examples of something that could go wrong it has five or six, everything covered in the guide is covered in the planner.

I had bought this planning book because I really like the the other book Bridal Bargains written by the same author Denise Fields. I’m in the process of planning of my wedding, and so far the only part that helped me was the first one or two chapters on setting a wedding budget. The rest I thought was too general. I was able to find most of the same or more information from surfing the web. Again, for a much better buy, get the Bridal Bargains book instead.

I enjoyed looking through this wedding planner workbook, designed to go with the book of the similar name. It has additional hints and tips not in the book, and plenty of places to write down lists of things that are important to weddings. I bought it for my 25 year old daughter who loves to organize and plan things – especially for her own wedding – and a person like her will use it. If you are not a “write down” planner type of person, maybe just the book would be enough.

I bought this wedding planner along with the Bridal Bargains book. I didn’t need both. They have the same information…the only real difference is format. The planner is great for writing down ideas and keeping track of meeting and conversations, but honestly, the planner ended up collecting dust on my shelf. I used the Bridal Bargains book until it almost fell apart, but didnt’ need to buy the planner too. Save yourself some money and just buy one or the other. (And I’d recommend the other…)

I figured I was just buying the Bridal Bargains book with pockets and a few extras, but the advice in this kept referring to “more details in the Bridal Bargains book” so I feel like it would have been more worthwhile just to get that book. All in all there was some good advice, but the editors should be ashamed of how many blatant grammatical errors and typos they let slip through. I’m not THAT nitpicky but there were so many it was distracting.
