The title says it all. This is a contemporary guide. I’m a first time MOTB looking for unstuffy etqiuette advice for my daughters, one the bride and the other her maid of honor slash wedding planner. This is the perfect book, especially for the less formal wedding. The book is simple, well organized and written in an easy style that helps make even the unbendable rules easy to accept. The author cleverly equates a wedding with a production starring the bride and groom. I found it very helpful and so did my less rule-oriented daughters. If your wedding is very formal, skip to Amy or Emily for etiquette guidance.
