I looked through a lot of other planners while trying to find one that I liked. For the most part they were too brief. For example, if you’re going to go to more than one store to look at wedding invitations, wouldn’t it be nice to have some place in your planner to write details of each store down? Most planners tend to have room for just one store – your final pick. That’s not the case with this planner. Each item (stationery, reception location, caterers) has a handy comparison chart that gives you a place to write down some basics about each one. There’s also a neat section on flowers featuring pictures of each flower so you’ll understand what your florist is talking about. In addition, the divider for each section features a pocket on each side, a great place to keep all those receipts and contracts you end up with. To top it all off, at the end of the planner, there are three business card holder pages.
There are a few drawbacks to this book. First, it is really large. It’s about the size of an oversized three ring binder. If you want something to just throw in your purse when you go to interview vendors, this won’t work. Second, it features a lot of pictures. Now, this is handy for the flower section, but 20 pictures of different cake styles isn’t really something you need in a planner.
Overall, I recommend this planner if you’re going to be doing comparison shopping and if you are detail oriented. It really is the best one that I’ve seen so far.

I got married July 1, 2000 and had a wonderful wedding and reception thanks to the helpful planning tools, information and photos in the Easy Wedding Planner, Organizer and Keepsake. I attempted to use three other popular planners before I found this one; the others paled in comparison! This lush book has plenty of pockets for contracts, business cards, swatches and other keepsakes a bride collects during the wedding planning process. The pictures gave me some great ideas and the worksheets kept my mother and me organized. We felt like we had our own personal wedding and event planner in this book.

This wedding planner is one of the best ones I’ve ever seen! It’s everything it says it is, and much more. It has lots of checklists to keep you organized and on-track with your planning, tons of helpful tips and suggestions, enough pockets for every vendor you will use (also used as handy dividers), plastic sheets to hold business cards, and even a satin ribbon that serves as a bookmark! The pictures are absolutely lovely, and serve as helpful visual suggestions for ideas to use on your wedding. It even has a section that lists flowers and accompanying pictures so that you’re more confident when going to a florist! They’ve thought of practically everything, and I would recommend this planner 100%!

I purchased this wedding planner after reading many customer reviews of this and other wedding planners and deciding this looked like the best one. After getting it there are things I felt it is lacking. First I don’t like that each chapter covers two topics, it makes it hard to flip directly to a topic when you have to find the second half of the chapter to get to that information. Another thing this book lacks is explaining in greater detail some of the wedding aspects. It goes over the elements of each section very brefly and unlike other planners that give an overview each wedding aspect (ceremony, flowers, music, etc) and then go over in detail each indivdual part of that aspect. Lastly the vendor questions don’t always seem to be relivant. After reviewing other planners I found many questions this book did not include that I found were important things to find out. There are a few positive things about this planner. The pictures are nice and do help to give you some ideas about what you would like to include in your wedding. The business card page in the front was also helpful so the cards did not get lost and lastly the vendor over page at the end of most chapters was nice to record your final selections and information with each vendor you pick. Overall I think this planner is worth glancing at in a book store or buying if you plan to buy another planner but is not good by itself. I also don’t think it is really worth the $30 suggested retail, I found two other planners both with less then $20 suggested retail and were much more help.

This is a great wedding planner. I love the pockets, business card holders, planning worksheets, dividers, and photos. You have everything in here you need for the wedding except the groom! I would only suggest that is come with a 3-ring binder on its next publishing in order to insert my own things.
