I have seen so many WRONG answers about how to do something or what the correct etiquette for…..
Don’t people read a freaken wedding book before doing these things?? Or is it just because their family does it that way, now they think it’s proper or OK to do things a certain way??

unfortunately, some people don’t live in a world of proper etiquette. and even worse, some people only care about themselves and not others.
I’m actually more interested in what you saw and are so upset about. share, it may be interesting.
you can get wedding etiquette from weddingetiquette.com, and they have prices from 4 for $26.99, or an entire years supply for $82.99.
Well I get my etiquette from the man who lives on drury lane. he can tell you whole bunches of things like where to sleep and how to eat its really all quite fascinating really. you should look him up under the alias: THEMANWHOLIVESONDRURYLANE. Thats what I would do.
It’s probably because people don’t feel the need to conform to stuffy, outdated “tradition” on what could be one of the most personal days of their life.
If we all stuck to tradition for tradition’s sake, we’d still be ruled by England, have slaves, and women would be their husband’s property.
CHANGE IS GOOD!
Same place some people get their drivers’ licenses…a Cracker Jacks box, apparently!
I’d like to know what you consider wrong. It can vary from country to country. In the US it is expected of the bridesmaids to pay for their own wedding attire. In the UK that is unheard of.
In the UK I’ve heard that it is acceptable to invite people to a wedding reception AFTER everyone has eaten to save on money. In the US that is unheard of.
Bridal showers are unheard of in the UK. In the US they are quite common. Cash bars are a no-no in the US. In the UK they are fine and dandy.
I guess it just depends on where you live.
Why does there have to be certain etiquette’s to do something.. Why are they WRONG.. because you said so? What is your reason? If you haven’t noticed we weren’t made from the same mold. Everyone is different and has their own ways of presenting their selves..
I mean my goodness why is it so wrong for someone to take the idea of something and give it a twist… Why does everything have to be by the book.. OMG could you see the same damn wedding for everyone.. Wow that would be so great wouldn’t it. no it would be so boring..
Sorry but I believe difference is good and not being so text book is great..
maybe you should try it one day.
Well you know. They’ve been to one wedding in their life, THEIRS!
Now they’re trying to convert all of us.
some people dont know any better and some are just plain dumb. i personally went to a wedding where they had a money tree and people were puttin $20s and higher bills and the mother of the groom asked the PRIEST for change because she didnt want to give them a $10….the poor guy was appalled and gave her change for a ten and she put five $1 bills on the clips..she spent the night bragging about how she used a bunch of the money hooks…yet she “forgot” to mention that she only gave them $5 total!! i still dont know whether she really was a moron or was raised with no class whatsoever….i think u should write a wedding ettiquette pamplet and sell it to brides!! then have them sent out with invitations so each guest knows exactly how to behave..ud be rich!!!
haha
